Dr. Matt Hanovic

Dr. Hanovic is a native of Long Island, growing up in Selden, just down the road from AES.

He attended Binghamton University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, then received his doctorate from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada. During his senior year, he was the recipient of the Zoetis Award for Excellence in Companion Animal Health Care. Dr. Hanovic has been an employee of AES both prior to and during his veterinary training, and he is excited to continue to advance his veterinary career alongside his AES family.

Medical interests include emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, and strengthening the bond between humans and their animal companions. It is this human-animal bond that Dr. Hanovic couldn’t be more proud
to foster as a veterinary practitioner. He strives to provide compassionate care of the highest quality to his patients and the clients who consider them family.

Dr. Hanovic is the dad of a rescued pit bull mix named Hudson, and Hudson’s feline partner in crime, Yankee. He is an avid movie buff and in his spare time he enjoys participating in various outdoor activities and traveling both near and far.

Dr. Lynda Loudon

Dr. Lynda Loudon is the Director of Operations at our Commack location. She graduated from Ross University in 2003 and completed a 1 year small animal internship at Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists. She went on to serve as Chief of Emergency and intern director at one of Long Island’s largest Emergency and Referral Centers for 10 years. She was then Medical Director for Nassau-Suffolk Animal Hospital for 2 years before joining the team at Animal Emergency Services. Dr. Loudon is also the founder and president of Healing Haven Animal Fund, a 501 C3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping animals in need receive the urgent medical care they need and deserve.
Doctor Loudon’s medical interests include trauma, surgery and critical care. Helping patients through the most challenging medical situations is where her passion lies. She also has interest in holistic healing, Reiki and healing through nutrition.
Dr. Loudon lives on the North Shore of Long Island with her husband (also a veterinarian), her two young boys, two dogs and a cat. Her favorite activities include yoga, running, painting, and writing.

Dr. Jennifer To

Dr. To is originally from Hong Kong. She moved to the United States at a young age and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University. While residing in California, she volunteered at the Humane Society as a behavior trainer for rescue dogs. She then moved across the globe to Australia to complete her veterinary education. She graduated from the University of Melbourne Faculty of Veterinary Science in 2012 with first class honors. Upon graduation, Dr. To completed a small animal rotating internship and a small animal surgery internship in New York. Her professional interests include emergency and critical medicine, as well as surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and the outdoors.

Dr. Jennifer Kishbaugh

Dr. Kishbaugh moved to Long Island from Buffalo, New York.  She is a graduate of Ross University and performed her clinical training at Cornell University in Ithaca New York before completing an internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Long Island, and joining the wonderful team at AES.  She has a great passion for wildlife and conservation medicine, performing rotations with the Baltimore Zoo for continuing education and training.  Dr. Kishbaugh enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or at the ocean, running, weight lifting, and relaxing at home with her two darling cats.
